Lightfoot achieves ISO 14001 certification
Lightfoot is pleased to announce that we have been awarded ISO 14001 certification – this is a huge milestone for the business in reflecting our commitment to both sustainability and environmental responsibility.
ISO 14001 is the globally recognised standard for environmental management systems, or EMS. Having an effective EMS in place allows organisations to continually improve their environmental performance, with the ISO certification providing a framework by which businesses can make sure they are taking proactive steps to minimise their carbon footprint, comply with all legal requirements, and achieve environmental goals.
At Lightfoot, we recognise that organisations like ours have a pivotal role to play in addressing ongoing environmental concerns such as climate change, and gaining ISO 14001 accreditation is an important step in our company-wide mission to build a more sustainable future for everyone.
Helping fleets to lower their carbon footprint and operate in a cleaner, greener way has always been an integral part of the Lightfoot story, and we’re immensely proud to be able to take our commitment to sustainability further, reduce our own environmental impact, and solidify our dedication to a greener future for the industry by securing this certification.
