The Tesco x Lightfoot Big Bonanza competition will initially run for 8 weeks, during which time you have the opportunity to win even more! Get involved with our new weekly competition, and you’ll benefit from increased odds of winning as well as higher average prize values every time that you enter!
Here’s what you need to do to be in with a chance of winning:
- Reach the weekly Elite Driver target of 85% or above
- Enter the Tesco x Lightfoot Big Bonanza competition each week through your Lightfoot app

FAQs
A: Tesco x Lightfoot Big Bonanza competition winnings will appear in your monthly payslip. This is because these prizes are subject to tax and National Insurance – this means your employer needs to include the prize money that’s been awarded to you on the payroll system. This allows your employer to calculate the correct tax and National Insurance on the winnings so Tesco can pay this on your behalf based on your earnings, tax code, and NI category.
You will see your Big Bonanza winnings listed as a deduction on your payslip as you have already received these winnings through the Lightfoot app. Please note that these winnings will never actually be deducted from your pay – they simply need to be included on your payslip to allow your employer to pay the correct tax. So, for example, if you won £8 and you have £3.99 as PAYE and NI for these winnings, you would see £11.99 registered in the payments and £8 in the deductions.
A: As with the Lightfoot Drivers’ Lottery, payments are processed every Thursday for any cash prizes you claim through the Lightfoot app. Please note that if you withdraw your prize on a Thursday, you may not receive the payment until the following Thursday.
